Keystroke logging often called "keylogging" is a diagnostic tool which is used in software development. Key logging captures the user's keystrokes. It can be useful to establish the source of error in computer systems and is occasionally used to measure employee productivity on certain office tasks. The move follows recent explosions in Hyderabad and Mumbai that appear to have been planned in Internet chat rooms.
